One Short of a Wisdom

Experimenting with some figure drawings right now. I usually use more of a minimalistic approach with my drawings and focus more on color and texture, but I’m trying to understand how to draw the body from different positions and angles. I used to think that drawing those weird preliminary circles and lines was a waste of time, but it’s really not. It helps your brain to get down the basic shape before focusing on the details. Not a bad way to spend my last week of college.
